Whole School Election

On Friday 28th June 2024, Trinity School hosted their own version of the general election to provide students with the experience of voting when their time comes.

tudents from 6th Form represented the four major parties putting together a manifesto video which all students watched in the lead up to the election. The voting took place in the morning with votes counted and logged. The winners of our Whole School Election was the Green Party.

Dr Charlotte Wilson, Executive Headteacher said “This was an important event for us to hold as a school, replicating what it is like to vote in a General Election. When the time comes for our students to vote they have had the experience of gaining information from manifestos to make an informed choice before voting. Thank you to all four students who ran as candidates and to Mr Kenneally for organising the event.”
