Student Voice Conference - Giant Visits Trinity School

This week at Trinity we held our annual Student Voice conference. The conference brought together young leaders from Trinity School and Fir Tree Primary School to discuss the importance of Personal Excellence and Collective Responsibility. Now in its fifth year, the conference continues to empower students, giving them a platform to shape their learning journey and contribute meaningfully to their school community.
 
A highlight of the morning was our keynote speaker, Jamie Christian-Johal, better known as Giant from Gladiators. Jamie captivated students with his inspiring journey from firefighter to professional bodybuilder and now a star of Gladiators. His powerful message of resilience, hard work, and self-belief left a lasting impression on all those in attendance. The conference showcased the very best of student leadership at Trinity School, reinforcing that every voice matters and that through teamwork, determination, and responsibility, our students can continue to shape the future of their education.  Dr Charlotte Wilson, Executive Headteacher said – ‘our student voice conference gives our students the opportunity to come together and discuss matters important to our school, having such an inspirational keynote speaker was a fantastic opportunity for all the children and young people in our trust’.
