Sports Personality

Trinity School was delighted to welcome Dave Kitson as the guest speaker for the annual Sports Personality of the Year celebration. Dave gave an interesting speech using his football shirt collection to exemplify some of the values he had learnt throughout his career.

The audience enjoyed listening to his anecdotes before celebrating the success of students from Year 7 to 13 in the sporting arena this year. They celebrated the records broken and the competitions won. This year’s winner for Sports Personality was Evie Lewis who is ranked 2nd for Wales U15 for Discus. The Sporting Excellence Award went to Tyler Kinder who represented Great Britain in the K2 Race at the French National Championships and the Sports Leader Award went to Sophie Byway who is dedicated and passionate about promoting sports to others.

Dr Charlotte Wilson, Executive Headteacher said “This was a fantastic evening to celebrate the achievements of our students; thank you to all the staff for their hard work which makes all the events possible”.
